FAQ's

When should I book my newborn session?

• I would suggest to book your session in after your 12 week scan to ensure I can fit you in. If you wait until baby arrives I cannot guarantee that I will have availability for you.

How long do newborn sessions take?

• It is my top priority that the baby stays comfortable, this means the session is baby led. We will need time to feed, change and settle throughout the shoot whenever needed. Most session can last anywhere between 1.5 - 3 hours depending on how baby is feeling on the day.

How old should my baby be when we have the shoot?

• It is usually best to get them in the studio between 5 days and 2 weeks old. They are usually more sleepy in this time allowing me to get them comfortably into those curled up poses. It is possible to photograph them after 2 weeks but would just have to keep in mind that they may not go into every pose as easy.

Can parents and older siblings be included in the shoot?

• Yes! I recommend having a family photo included in your session. I understand that you may not be feeling your best just a few days after having your new bundle of joy but I promise the posing will be minimal and you will cherish the photos forever! All siblings can be included too.

How long does it take to get the photo's back?

• I will usually get the proof gallery to you within 3 (working) days. You can then go in and choose your images. Once chosen I will the hand edit each image to make them perfect for you. Depending on the package you choose I should get the edited images back to you within 3 weeks of you choosing. Please note this may vary during busier periods.

What if my baby arrives early/late?

• Not to worry if baby doesn't arrive on their due date. Among booking I will pencil you in for around 1 week after your due date. Then you just need to keep me updated and we can reschedule if needed.

I take a deposit to secure your session which is deducted from the package.
